These boards are not being used by anyone, so we might as well start using it for business.
The game started at 10a, four players showing for the first session. More are expected the next session, which will run from 10a to 4p on Sunday.
We have a Haguni Fighter, an upper class, non-noble Oldari Rogue, a criminal Dagorian Cleric, and a Oldari Wizard. They are currently sitting in the village of Spearfish, where a fight almost ensued on the first day when a local insulted the egg line of the Haguni, who himself was being a bit forward with his intentions.

That poor Haguni. They obviously misunderstood his friendly intentions, and to make such rude remarks about his heritage too....Thank goodness there was a kind scribe present to translate what those two horrible brutes said ;D

Yes, lizards have so little sense of humor when it comes to their egg lines. To imply a sneak thief fertilized his egg line's ovum rack is simply wrong in so many ways.

It certainly doesn't help that some of the citizens of Spearfish seem to be a bit close minded and racist...

Bit of a backwater. Of course this is a land devastated by barbarian invasion where the average person never travels more than 15 miles from the shed they were born in, and this is a lizard that is bright yellow whose only method of communication is to speak trade talk in a rasping voice.

I had made my own post in the D&D thread. Here is the post again.
Name- Fadelin Race- Tiefling Class- Cleric
Fadelin's life has been wrought with woe and mischief. Ejected from his family at a young age because his father was uncertain that Fadelin was actually his son and therefore had little patience for the childish mistakes of a young Dagorian.
Left to fend for himself on the streets with no help from the community because of his race, Fadelin began a life of crime. To fill his belly he stole food, to buy his clothes he robbed and pick pocketed. His life was headed down the narrow path of unscrupulous depredation, until he was inspired by the holy goddess Mendalla. Her warmth and love showed his the path toward a greater good.
Although he is not above stealing or battling, he must believe it has a righteous end. He has wandered all his life, and will continue to do so, trying to save the creatures of his world.
Because of this he will often try to talk and befriend those who find him revolting or unsettling, and will try to overcome there ignorance will his kindness and mental prowess (or mace as the case may be).

The valiant adventurers have made a deal with the Baron of Spearfish to speak with the merchant's guild in Greysmere about starting trade, in return each will get a gold denar. One member of the group also was given a letter to give to a mysterious man on the docks of Greysmere.
Setting off, they encountered a damsel in distress, They behaved properly to her until it was revealed she was a changeling and she was setting them up for ambush. All future damsels should beware, the group who as yet has no name or leader, will likely kill first and ask questions later.

Heading to the great city of Greysmere, the adventurers find themselves on the docks meeting two new party members, and handing one of them a note requesting their own assassination. They also met the Paladin who was really guiding the princess, who turns out to be real also. And she must be to her wedding in 45 days or less.
So the faithful crew return to spearfish to find the princess, confront the evil merchant, and save the world.
