Follis, Morrey Leon Cayhill aka Lyeon Fudburner aka Thom Morphy aka Morrey Molmot aka Follis Fouts aka Lenord Lykes b. IC 421, Lakeship Argent Trader, near Newbridge d. IC 477, Spearfish Village, Cadea Lyeon Fudburner is rude, crude, crass, lecherous, criminalistics, and rude. He is so rude his encyclopedia description lists rude twice. While he is wanted in no cities, and does not actually have a criminal record, he is one of the least honest halflings ever to walk the earth. Lyeon was born to a prestigious trading family of the intendent class, which he promptly alienated at a young age, being beached in IC 445 for crimes not mentioned by members of his extensive family, who all hate him. Oddly enough, he has a soft place in his heart for them, and will do anything they ask of him, something that happens more often that supposed for him being disowned.
Much of Lyeon's life is lies, speculations, and rumors. Everyone on the lake knows him. Is it true that a truth-sayer plucked her eyes from here head while trying to read his mind during a questioning? The guard at Greysmere think that is so, and approach him very cautiously. Is it true he picked a Lich's pocket in Nevarre? Certainly there are several eye witnesses to this event. Is it true he is actually a paladin serving under cover to root out corruption? No one believe that one for a second. Is it true he spent three years as the captive of a powerful illusionist? Well, he does get strange packages left for him by odd people...
Rumors exist that Lyeon died after heroically facing a band of pirates in the service of Spearfish village in IC 477, but his body was never found.

Gathi Priest b. - d. - The rare and secretive Gathi are almost never seen on Virdea, preferring to hide and nurse their disorders in the great deepings they have taken from the Dwarrow. One Gathi though appears to be involved in the affairs of the civilized races, and he is rumored to be the leader of a pirate gang. Many people would pay big money to know why.

Rimini DoCampo b. IC 7, Redhaven Heights, the Rednesse d. - Noted assassin, and senior fellow of the Scarlet Hand of the Seytes Gate Assassin's Guild. Rimini is most noted for his establishment of an adventuring escrow service with the Adventurer's Guild of Greysmere, and his later development of the "down and dirty" contract, where adventurers who desire pre-payment for a job instead of requesting escrow money be set aside, have a contract for assassination set on their heads. Completion of the job cancels the contract.
Although well known and respected, Rimini has been rejected by his formalist DoCampo family, whose actions with regard to the Redhaven underground are little concealed, and which Rimini refuses to participate with. Rimini is also rumored to be connected to several undead servant running rings, where powerful families in Seytes Gate purchase undead or golem servants to work in manual labor. At least one accuser, who disappeared before he could testify in Seytes Gate court, claims the undead are adventurers whose contracts were served after they absconded with money for a job.

Rodney Strongarm b. ? d. - Rodney claims to be a Bloodbeard from Dwarrowcleft, taken as a small lad by slavers from Navarre, a claim that has much wrong about it (including Navarre's generally friendly demeanor with Dwarrowcleft, and the almost complete absence of Dwarrow slaves in the Navarre slave markets.) What can be confirmed is that Rodney was first sold by a slaver in Navarre to human miners in IC 422, at which time he was an immensely strong youth, who was almost useless as a slave because of his willfulness.
This willfulness made him a terrible slave, but his strength kept people hoping that they could be the one to apply it, if only they learned the key. Beatings, starvation, good treatment and bad, had no effect. Rodney came before the slave's council dozens of times, only his status as a Dwarrow, and the desire of Navarre not to make their slavery hating allies angry, kept him alive.
Finally, in IC 476, Rodney was sold to a group of speculators, who turned out to be pirates that needed galley slaves. He was rescued from slavery by raiders on the Pirate's base, who used powerful earth magics to put the pirate's to sleep and then towed the pirate's ship, the bireme Urgent Thunder out to the lake from its dock. Rodney was freed by fiat of the Baron Spearfish, and he was invested as first citizen of Liberty, being assigned to manage the new village made up of other slaves freed into serfdom. Rodney was elevated to the Intendant class at that time.

Banquin Hammerstrike b. IC 427, Greysmere Caverns d. - Dwarrow leader of the Delvers adventuring party, based out of Greysmere. Banquin is a skilled Warlord, and well known leader of one of the few adventuring groups to be successful in the early post Sudosi War era.
Lonny Ko b. IC 333, Greysmere d. - Ranger of the Greysmere Guard, and Oldari woodsman, Lonny served as a youth in the Sudosi Wars, winning no great laurels, but gathering in the glory of all of the Greysmere Guard for keeping the barbarians away from that cities walls. Although most of his family was killed and he was left on his own at a relatively young age (for an Oldari) Lonny continued in the Guard until he joined the Delvers adventuring group.
Follis, Abrahm Kaul b. IC 420, Lakeship Argent, in dock at Celestia d. - Abrahm Follis, a halfling wizard and graduate of the Greysmere Wizards Academy, was trained by his mother, a Hedge Wizard of the powerful Follis Clan before he started in the academy. Before he completed his studies, he left to join an adventuring group lead by Banquin Hammerstrike named "The Delvers," and has become a moderately successful wizard.

Antochus, Baron Spearfish b. IC 401, Spearfish Village, Cadea d. - Traditionally seen as the ineffectual leader of Spearfish, at least compared to his dynamic father, in IC 477 Antochus set out to end the long isolation being suffered by Spearfish since the end of the barbarians wars.
Sir Lukas Spearfish b. IC 452, Spearfish Village, Cadea d. - Only son of Antochus Spearfish, his mother died in childbirth having him. Lukas was knighted in IC 463 upon the death of his grandfather, for whom he is named. He joined the council in IC 475, and was a voice of opposition to his fathers reforms that started that year. He married Bella Juno in IC 476 and has a single son, Ranikas (b. 477).
Lady Melinda Spearfish b. IC 444, Spearfish Village, Cadea d. - Only daughter of Antochus Spearfish, Lady Melinda turned down knighthood (and the requirement that she marry and provide an heir) in IC 465, instead choose to study under the Wizard Kask of Spearfish. Although she has remained unmarried, rumors of her romantic attachments are often part of town gossip, since she could, if she married and produced an heir, take back her position as eldest child and heir from her brother Lukas, who is unpopular with the common people.
Kask b. ? d. - Mysterious wizard of Spearfish, and although a member of the council of government, he never attends its meetings, and only shows up for formal dinners, where he eats a great deal of food, and generally passes out on the floor from alcohol consumption.
Noddy Holder b. IC 440, Spearfish Village, Cadea d. IC 477, Spearfish Village, Cadea Owner of the Spearfish mercantile exchange, Holder was a farm hand who made good, buying the exchange from the Cartaman family, whom he later purchases when debts forced them into slavery. By IC 477, Holder would control several fishing boats and most of what passed for industry in the town of Spearfish, and be seen by locals as assembling in essence an unofficial police force of out-of-work fish hunters. Holder was charged with treason by the Baron Spearfish in trail on 16 Tempest, IC 477 and scheduled to be hung with his co-conspirators, but was found dead in his cell before sentence could be carried out. His financial empire devolved to his son, Ned, upon his death.
Sir Orthenwaite Guillord Minigal Rupert, Knight Commander of the Order of Sederik b. IC 451, the City State of Seytes Gate d. - Rising star of the Order of Sederik and scion of the powerful Minigal and Guillord families of Seytes Gate, Rupert at an early age defied his parents wishes of taking up a leadership role bridging the divide of the two warring families, and used his inherited rank to gain appointment to the King's Guards of Seytes Gate. In IC 471 he was knighted, and quickly became a Knight commander fighting on the borders of the Gate. In IC 475 he was inducted into the Order of Sederik, and promoted (many years early) to Knight Commander. Despite grumbling about his rather forceful personality (a story is told of him holding a city official outside of a window for the poor quality of food his men were provided) he was decorated at the minor battle of Bollings against a Do Li raiding party. In IC 477 he was assigned a crucial mission to bring the Halodari princess Isabel Aurora Secuda to an arranged marriage with the Noldari prince Manion. This marriage, much publicized, was seen as a method by which the ruling families of Seytes Gate could end Halodari raids on the Do Li, by finding an acceptable new homeland for the displaced Oldari of the Redhaven.
Princess Isabel Aurora Secuda b. IC 400, the City State of Seytes Gate d. ? The willful princess of the Halodari ruling family, and assumed heir to the defunct throne of Redhaven. Isabel was well known for her poor behavior, only being exceeded in her temper by her younger brother Kimer (in fact, it was said that to like Isabel, you had to spend an afternoon with Kimer first for comparison). Kimer's attempted assassination of Isabel in IC 450, and his subsequent exile would assure that Isabel was an important part of whatever the expatriates of Redhaven decided to do about forming their own kingdom.
The Mysterious Polyglot b. Unknown d. - A human man with bland, good looking features, a quiet voice, and the ability to speak Drogari, Haguni, Celesti, Dagorian, and Daicolic seemingly without an accent. Little is known about him, except he travels with a yew staff, and has a Few Dragon companion.

Ned "Ben-Ji" Holder b. IC 460, Spearfish Village, Cadea d. - Owner of the Spearfish mercantile exchange and son of executed traitor Noddy Holder. Ned, known to most of the town as Ben-Ji, is a different character than Noddy. He is not friendly with the Baron's son, and never liked living in his father's shadow.
